What does it take to create impossibly good products? 250,000 customer insights (and counting.) We waited 5+ years before creating our own products. Instead, we focused on research. Our retail CBD store, Cape Ann Botanicals opened in 2018 and our THC store Cape Ann Cannabis in 2020. Since 2018 we have invested in our team that traveled all over the world to renowned medical and science symposiums, met with doctors and researchers to learn all we could. We’ve been evaluating formulations and taking notes since day one. What worked; what didn’t.
At our inception, we hired an experienced Cannabis nurse to consult with our customers and medical professionals to further evaluate every product we sold in excruciating detail. Challenging ourselves further we hosted events in-store around ailments to dig deeper into customer's needs. Along the way we expanded our team, adding a Ph.D. in Science, several herbalists, and an experienced cultivation expert. Investing in sound infrastructure and new technologies we began blending products.
As a locally owned and operated business our community is our family, our promises held to the highest standard. In the end every customer wanted the same thing. A premier mix of cannabis blends developed with trust that when used may make a difference in their lives. With rigorous testing practices in place Cape Ann Blends answered the call.

Word of mouth is everything when you live in the small towns populating Cape Ann on the North Shore of Massachusetts. If we didn’t worship cannabinoids, invest in the best raw materials, or work hard to make education a priority when CBD was new to the world and THC was new in our area, our customers would have disappeared. They didn’t. As word of mouth spread our businesses grew. “We are trustworthy,” they said. Our proven values are simple and secure.
